KBS Adds VP of National Accounts to Accommodate Expanded REIT Offerings

Lee Bastidas Will Help Strengthen KBS Relationships In the Broker-Dealer Community

Newport Beach, Calif. - April 1, 2010: KBS Capital Markets Group (KBS-CMG), the dealer-manager for KBS Real Estate Investment Trusts (KBS REITs), and an affiliate of KBS Capital Advisors and KBS Realty Advisors, has added a vice president of national accounts to help it accommodate a series of anticipated new product offerings in 2010 and beyond.

Lee Bastidas, a 14-year veteran of the financial sales industry, will leverage her strategic relationships within the investment community to increase the profile of KBS products among brokers-dealers nationwide. “Lee brings unique industry experience and relationships to KBS, which will prove especially valuable as we launch other KBS REITS with broker-dealers in the coming months,” explained Mike Crimmins, KBS-CMG chief executive officer. “Her addition to the team comes at a prolific time for KBS.”

Bastidas comes to KBS from Principal Funds Distributor, Inc., of Des Moines, Iowa, where she was senior relationship director. Prior to Principal Funds, she worked for nine years with Oppenheimer Funds Distributor, Inc., of New York, most recently as strategic account manager.

Bastidas received her bachelor’s degree from Providence College in Providence, R.I., and lives in Summit, N.J.
